Chad Russell out of Lubbock, TX., is a heavy metal recording artist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, who plays guitar, bass, drums and piano. He is the owner of Don't Fret Guitar Studio® and the head instructor for the studio. He is also a Berklee College of Music Master’s Song Writer, a South Plains College, and a Texas Tech University graduate, and has been playing guitar since he was a child.  Chad has worked with super producer Chuck Alkazian on all his original musical projects including MAD CHAD,  and Texas 223, through the record label DFGS Productions Inc. 

 Chad says, “Whether I am teaching, playing, performing, practicing, or producing it is a blast and a role that I take very serious as a professional musician.”

Mitch Tibbet out of Lubbock has played guitar from an early age. Mitch has a contagious style of teaching and playing that keeps his students engaged and ready for more! His style of musical compositions, rooted in Hard Rock and Metal are an incredible sonic journey! Mitch has also received scholarships through South Plains College for his commercial music degree.  Mitch also has extensive Songwriting and Recording experience.

Mitch says, "My specialties include riff writing, drop/alternate tunings, and solo improvisation. In my spare time you can find me shredding at skatepark or in the studio recording!"

Mitch offers private lessons in guitar, bass, recording/tracking, and songwriting.

Maddox Kalivoda is one of our talented guitar instructors, and his passion and dedication to music is contagious!! We are so excited to have him on the DFGS staff! Maddox has been playing guitar for since his childhood, and is passionate about all his students! He specializes in many styles (Rock, Metal, Praise and Worship, Blues), music theory, technique, and song writing.

Maddox says, "Music has shaped so much of my life, and I’m passionate about becoming a better player and writing my own music in every style I can. I love guiding my students on their journey as a musician, from learning their favorite songs, to writing their own! "

Born and raised in Lubbock, Mary Fletcher became entrenched in the music scene at a very young age. 

Efficient on the vocals, guitar,  and piano, Mary grew up performing on the stage and understands how to help her students achieve their musical goals!  

Mary is a graduate Trevecca Nazarene University, earning her Associate’s Degree in Worship Music Leadership. Mary is known for her soulful lyrics and her velvety voice and versatile styles.

Mary says, "From performing onstage to teaching in the studio, I love connecting with people through song and guitar. Music has always been my greatest passion. My home and my heart is my music."
